YITEN FOOD MARKETING SDN BHD is seeking an Inventory & QA/QC Executive to oversee end-to-end quality standards across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in our Rawang facility. You will ensure compliance with HACCP/GMP/ISO and maintain stock accuracy using FIFO/FEFO.
The role requires 2–4 years of experience in quality control or inventory control within FMCG, with hands-on audit and CAPA experience and proficiency in ERP/WMS systems.
To oversee and ensure end-to-end quality standards, food safety compliance, and stock accuracy across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. The Inventory & QA/QC Executive bridges the gap between quality standards and warehouse management—ensuring that all manufactured snack products consistently meet internal specifications, customer expectations, and statutory food safety regulations, while optimizing inventory control and traceability.
Establish, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for snack production line operations.
Ensure factory compliance with international and local food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, MeSTI, Halal, or FDA guidelines where applicable).
Lead regular internal hygiene and food safety audits across processing, frying/baking, seasoning, and packaging areas.
Manage customer complaints regarding quality, lead root cause analyses (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Inspect and test raw ingredients and packaging materials against strict quality criteria before acceptance into inventory.
Conduct real-time quality monitoring on processing lines—including seal integrity checks, net weight control, moisture levels, rancidity/oil quality tests, metal detection, and sensory evaluations.
Sample and approve finished snack lots before release to warehouse or shipping; hold or reject non-conforming batches immediately.
Maintain real-time stock accuracy for raw materials, packaging supplies, rejected/quarantine stock, and finished goods using FIFO/FEFO principles.
Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile discrepancies with system records, and investigate variance causes.
Generate weekly and monthly QA/QC performance, scrap rate, stock discrepancy, and audit compliance reports for senior management.
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in quality control, food safety, or inventory control within the FMCG or food/snack manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, Halal, MeSTI, or equivalent local food sanitation laws).
Hands-on experience with physical inventory auditing, lot batch tracking systems, and ERP/WMS software.
Strong understanding of shelf-life monitoring, oil management (FFA/PV testing for fried snacks), moisture testing, and packaging barrier testing.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data tracking tools.
Meticulous attention to detail and high analytical troubleshooting skills (CAPA, 5 Whys).
High integrity with an uncompromising stance on product safety and standard compliance.
Strong communication and cross-departmental coordination capabilities (Production, Procurement, Logistics).
