Job summary

Swee Hin Chan Co Sdn Bhd in Penang, Seberang Perai, is seeking a QA/QC technician to perform incoming and outgoing inspection of raw materials and maintain accurate records in line with ISO 22000:2018, GMP and food safety standards.

The role requires a Diploma or SPM in Food Science/Technology/Quality Management and knowledge of GMP, HACCP. You will assist in audits, traceability, investigations of customer complaints and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• SPM/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management or related field.
• Experience in QC/QA or food industry is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming and outgoing inspection of raw materials, including checking product condition, packaging, labelling, batch number and quantity.
• Maintain accurate QC records and documentation.
• Assist the QAQC Executive in investigating customer complaints and following up on corrective actions.
• Assist in traceability and mock recall exercises.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Assist in QAQC meetings, swab testing, pest control monitoring and other quality activities.
• Report quality, food safety and non-conformance issues to the QAQC Executive.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 22000:2018, GMP, food safety and quality requirements.
• Perform other QAQC duties as assigned.

About you
