Inter Island Group is seeking an experienced QC Manager to lead the Quality Control team and oversee quality monitoring across daily food manufacturing operations. You will supervise the QC staff, ensure accurate documentation, and drive non-conformance investigations.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Food Science or related field, 5+ years in QC/QA within food manufacturing, and strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal and MeSTI. Biscuits/bakery experience is highly preferred.

• Food manufacturing experience is compulsory.
• Experience in biscuits, bakery or similar food manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Experience with digital QC systems, online production monitoring or QC software is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal and MeSTI.

• Ensure QC records covering batch, quality, temperature, moisture and metal detection are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor production quality through online dashboards or QC software.
• Investigate and handle non-conformances, deviations and quality issues promptly.
• Record corrective actions and follow up on quality improvement activities.
• Support product trials and first-batch evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, MeSTI and ISO requirements.
• Maintain accurate QC documentation and records for audits.
• Train QC staff and production operators on QC systems, SOPs and reporting procedures.
• Allocate QC manpower and ensure smooth QC operations across shifts.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
