Job summary

DKSH in Selangor, Malaysia invites applications for an Assistant, Inventory Management to support sourcing and supply chain operations in FMCG retail. You will assist with RFQ, PO coordination, NPD/SKU launches, inventory accuracy, and ERP data updates to ensure supply continuity.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years in sourcing or inventory is a plus. Proficiency in Excel and SAP or ERP systems, strong negotiation, communication, and adaptability are valued. Join a collaborative, dynamic team.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Business Management, or a relevant discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, inventory management, or related functions is an added advantage.
Experience in a food, FMCG, retailing, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge of sourcing and inventory management processes including RFQ, quotation analysis, vendor management, and purchase order coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
Strong commercial sense with good negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to follow through on commitments.
Proactive, adaptable, and resilient with the ability to manage changing priorities and deliver effectively under pressure.
Collaborative mindset with sound judgement and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end sourcing activities including RFQ preparation, quotation analysis, and supplier negotiation.
Coordinate purchase orders and support supplier management to ensure timely and accurate supply of goods.
Assist in the coordination of New Product Development (NPD) and Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) launches.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory management activities to uphold stock accuracy and availability.
Monitor and update data in SAP and ERP systems to support operational visibility and reporting.
Prepare and maintain sourcing and procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Demonstrate ownership and accountability in managing assigned tasks independently, escalating issues appropriately when required.
Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
