DKSH Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Executive, Inventory Management and Logistics to oversee inventory and logistics support for the Performance Material unit in Malaysia, ensuring efficient operations across coordination, inventory, and procurement processes.

You will collaborate with 3PL warehouses, manage SAP MM/WM data, generate KPI reports, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining data accuracy and timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and WM modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics coordination with 3PL warehouse providers.
• Manage material code creation and inventory handling with the 3PL.
• Coordinate with outbound team for goods returns and prepare reports.
• Maintain pricing data, PIRs, and cost calculations in SAP.
• Liaise with stakeholders on 3PL issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Support monthly KPI reporting to track performance.
• Process procurement requests: PRs, POs, GRs, and payments.
• Process invoices in Readsoft and verify currency, terms, and dates.
• Follow up workflows with country PIC to resolve pending items.
• Ensure data accuracy and invoice processing aligns with SLA.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and on time.

Job description

The Senior Executive, Inventory Management and Logistics oversees and accelerates inventory and logistics support for DKSH's Performance Material business unit in Malaysia, ensuring efficient operations across logistics coordination, inventory management, and procurement processes. This role is central to maintaining operational accuracy, service level compliance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain function.

What You Will Deliver

• Oversee the efficient operation of logistics coordination, material management, and inventory handling in collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse providers
• Manage material code creation and inventory handling with the 3PL warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and consistent operational efficiency
• Coordinate with the outbound team and Distribution Center for goods return management, and prepare accurate goods return reports
• Maintain List Price, create Salesman Codes, create and update Purchase Info Records (PIR), and manage cost calculations within the SAP system
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on issues related to 3PL operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Support the preparation of monthly operational Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track and communicate business performance
• Process procurement requests by preparing Management Papers, raising Purchase Requisitions, and managing subsequent procurement processes including Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and payment completion
• Manage invoice optimization and verification in the Readsoft verify systemProcess invoices via GAPIM, ensuring correct currency, payment terms, invoice references, and invoice dates
• Follow up and resolve pending workflows with the country Person-in-Charge (PIC) in a timely manner
• Ensure data accuracy and deliver invoice processing services within agreed quality standards, service levels, and KPI targets as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Continuously identify process issues and opportunities for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within specified timelines

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a good understanding of transportation and warehouse operational processes
• SAP knowledge in Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
