Job summary

DKSH Malaysia's Performance Materials unit is seeking a Senior Executive, Inventory Management and Logistics to oversee inventory and logistics operations, ensuring accuracy and service levels.

You will work with 3PLs, manage SAP records, support procurement processes, and generate KPI reports. Ideal candidate has a logistics-related degree and 2-4 years experience, proficient in SAP MM/WM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar inventory/logistics role.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; good transport and warehouse understanding.
• SAP MM and WM knowledge; proficient in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics coordination, material management, and 3PL collaboration.
• Create material codes and maintain inventory with the 3PL warehouse.
• Coordinate outbound returns and prepare related reports.
• Maintain pricing data, Salesman Codes, PIR, and SAP cost calculations.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve 3PL issues promptly.
• Prepare monthly operational KPI reports.
• Process procurement requests from PR to PO and goods receipts.
• Verify invoices in Readsoft and GAPIM, ensuring correct currency and dates.
• Follow up with country PIC to clear pending workflows.
• Deliver data accuracy and SLA-compliant invoice processing.

About the Role

The Senior Executive, Inventory Management and Logistics oversees and accelerates inventory and logistics support for DKSH's Performance Material business unit in Malaysia, ensuring efficient operations across logistics coordination, inventory management, and procurement processes. This role is central to maintaining operational accuracy, service level compliance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain function.

What You Will Deliver

• Oversee the efficient operation of logistics coordination, material management, and inventory handling in collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse providers
• Manage material code creation and inventory handling with the 3PL warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and consistent operational efficiency
• Coordinate with the outbound team and Distribution Center for goods return management, and prepare accurate goods return reports
• Maintain List Price, create Salesman Codes, create and update Purchase Info Records (PIR), and manage cost calculations within the SAP system
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on issues related to 3PL operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Support the preparation of monthly operational Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track and communicate business performance
• Process procurement requests by preparing Management Papers, raising Purchase Requisitions, and managing subsequent procurement processes including Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and payment completion
• Manage invoice optimization and verification in the Readsoft verify systemProcess invoices via GAPIM, ensuring correct currency, payment terms, invoice references, and invoice dates
• Follow up and resolve pending workflows with the country Person-in-Charge (PIC) in a timely manner
• Ensure data accuracy and deliver invoice processing services within agreed quality standards, service levels, and KPI targets as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Continuously identify process issues and opportunities for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within specified timelines

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a good understanding of transportation and warehouse operational processes
• SAP knowledge in Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
