TP is seeking a flexible Interpreter (100% Work from Home) based in Malaysia. The role focuses on consecutive interpretation during live conversations between doctor and patient, banker and client, and other stakeholders.

The position operates entirely remotely with 100% night shifts that rotate monthly. Shifts run from 7pm to various times, each 8 hours, totaling at least 40 hours per week. Salary ranges from RM5,700 to RM7,000 per month, with potential for growth based on performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain high accuracy.
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from conversations, and remain neutral and objective.
• Ability to quickly establish personal credibility.
• Ability to follow client's instructions closely.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication (with client permission).
• CEFR English Level bilingual with other required languages.
• Able to work from home on a permanent basis.

Responsabilités

• Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individuals with language barriers.
• Handle telephone or video calls on demand and render meaning of conversations in consecutive mode across sectors.
• Process information quickly and concisely, recognize cultural differences, and stay professional.
• Use appropriate industry terminology and understand common procedures across Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.

Client: Translation and Interpretation Services Company

Position: Interpreter (100% Work from Home)

Location: Work From Home (Based in Malaysia)

Job Scope: Consecutive interpretation- Live conversation Doctor & Patient, Banker and client etc...

Working Hours: 100% night shift that changes monthly. Entry points can be any hour from 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am etc. (8 hours online per shift, 40 hours online per week MINIMUM)

Salary: Basic package up to RM5700 - RM7000

Responsibilities

• Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individual with language barrier to understand and communicate to each other
• Handling telephone or video calls on demand and renders meaning of conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between speakers of English
• Processes information quickly and concisely, recognizes sensitive cultural differences, and is always professional and courteous
• The interpreter will use appropriate industry terminology and understand common industry procedures and practices. The calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.
