Job summary

Touch 'n Go Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a procurement assistant/intern to support the end-to-end procurement cycle. You will track requests, registrations, and invoices while coordinating with the Procurement PIC for timely updates.

The role targets candidates pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting, with a focus on integrity, confidentiality, and strong communication skills. Flexible hours and pantry snacks are provided.

• Pursuing Diploma/ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Track all incoming Procurement requests (UF), vendor registration, invoice verification, PO closure.
• Follow up with the assigned PIC for status updates.
• Assist PO registration: send Vendor Registration pack, follow up on submission, and check completeness.
• Assist PO acknowledgement to obtain vendor acknowledgement after PO issued.
• Assist invoice validation to ensure invoiced goods/services match PO and related docs.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Track all incoming Procurement requests (UF), vendor registration, invoice verification, PO closure, etc for timely processing.
• Responsible to follow up with the assigned PIC for the Procurement requests in 1) above for status / completion update.
• Assist Procurement staff on PO registration to: send Vendor Registration pack to vendor; follow up with vendor on Vendor Registration pack submission; and check submission completeness
• Assist Procurement staff on PO acknowledgement to seek acknowledgement from vendor after PO has been issued to vendor.
• Assist Procurement staff on invoice validation to check invoice against PO to ensure the invoiced goods and/or services are within the approved PO; Highlight to Procurement PIC any disputes or discrepancies in the invoices for goods supplied and/or services rendered, quantity, unit rate, amount, payment credit term, and payment milestone in the invoice against PO, DO / Service reports, etc
• Any other tasks that is assigned from time to time.
