Job summary

Build Ant Design Sdn Bhd is seeking an Interior Designer with 1–3 years of experience in residential or commercial projects in Penang. You will translate client requirements into space plans, coordinate with the construction team, and refine drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.

This role requires strong communication in English and Mandarin, attention to detail, and the ability to present proposals to clients. On-site work in George Town, Penang with collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 1–3 years interior design experience (residential or commercial).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp; knowledge of V-Ray/Enscape is a plus.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant interior design experience (residential or commercial projects preferred)

Proficient in the following software:

AutoCAD

SketchUp

V-Ray or Enscape (a plus)

Basic understanding of space planning, materials, and construction methods

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise independently with clients

Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time and project follow-ups

Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred (Malay language skills are a plus). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
