Job summary

IDP DESIGN PRACTICE SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an interior design professional to develop concepts, prepare client-ready drawings, and oversee documentation for construction.

Job description

• Flair for conceptual design, good in perspective drawings manually, computer aided & detailing.
• Able to produce conceptual interior design drawings for presentation to clients and working drawings, detail drawings for construction.
• Knowledge in managing costing against design.
• Coordinate with internal team, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Interact with clients and lead proposal development, including presentations, design direction and project costing.
• Assist Design Director to review and audit all submission drawings and other documents.
• Oversee project progress at all stages, attend key site and progress meetings.
• Consistent follow up on outstanding works and issues, propose solutions and report to superior.
• Ensure a high standard of quality control on all relevant documentation, including drawings, schedule, specification, and site delivery.
• Undertake any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional. Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Accustomed and receptive to high project demands.
• Possess own transport to travel around Klang Valley area.
• Willing to work night shift to monitor renovation work, as and when required.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
• Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketch up, Photoshop, MS Word, MS Excel,
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
• Salary package will commensurate with qualification and experience.
