Job summary

MUGO Sdn Bhd is hiring a design-focused individual to join the interior design team in Selangor. You will work with the Lead Designer to translate client needs into concepts, develop mood boards, and support both 2D layouts and 3D models.

Strong communication in English and Mandarin is required to liaise with clients and partners. The role emphasizes hands-on learning with our carpentry and renovation teams, offering exposure to construction detailing and project coordination from concept

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in SketchUp is required.
• English and Mandarin communication abilities.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Design Support: Work closely with the Lead Designer to develop design concepts and prepare material mood boards that reflect client needs and preferences.

• Drawings and Visualisation: Prepare accurate 2D layouts and develop 3D models in SketchUp. Create renderings using Enscape or D5 to communicate design ideas to clients.

• Project Coordination: Support the coordination of renovation projects and help ensure work on site follows the approved design.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our own carpentry factory and renovation teams to coordinate design details and support smooth, timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Language: Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to liaise with clients and project partners.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in SketchUp is required. Familiarity with Enscape or D5 is an advantage.

• Technical Interest: Keen to learn about construction detailing, materials, and renovation processes.

• Experience: Fresh graduates who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
