Job summary

PLUS SPACE (SG) INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced CAD drafter for interior fit-out projects.

You will produce CAD/Revit drawings, 3D Max, and SketchUp models, review architect specifications, and coordinate with project managers. The role requires a Diploma in Design or related field, at least 2 years CAD drafting experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• At least 2 years CAD drafting experience in interior fit-out, commercial, or exhibition.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Good problem-solving and communication with project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper documentation and records of project drawings, approvals, and site progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues related to design, materials, or site constraints in collaboration with the project team.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

About you

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing, particularly in interior fit-out and carpentry.
