Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance to lead large-scale application development and transformation across insurance clients. You will own end-to-end delivery, manage stakeholders, and steer delivery without compromising quality and client objectives.

The role requires proven leadership of cross-functional teams, deep insurance knowledge, and strong governance skills. A mix of on-site collaboration with flexible arrangements is supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in programme management, project delivery, or service delivery leadership within Insurance, IT services, or SI environments.
• Strong experience managing large-scale application development, transformation, modernization, or managed services programmes.
• Demonstrated success in managing client stakeholders, executive communications, and delivery governance.
• Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and delivery frameworks.
• Experience managing programme financials, budgets, resource planning, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Insurance platforms, core insurance systems, policy admin, claims, underwriting, or digital transformation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme and service delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Act as primary contact for client stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Partner with account teams, architects, technical leads, and delivery teams to implement innovative solutions.
• Drive programme governance, project planning, resource management, financial tracking, and delivery performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to review designs and ensure alignment with business requirements and standards.
• Oversee development, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and transition across multiple projects.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, project management methodologies, quality standards, and governance processes.
• Provide leadership to project managers, technical leads, business analysts, and delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies across programmes.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and resource planning to support successful delivery.
• Participate in business workshops, client meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.
• Support growth by contributing to solutioning, proposals, effort estimation, and delivery planning.
