DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance to lead the successful delivery of large-scale application development, transformation, and managed services programmes for insurance clients. This role will be responsible for end-to-end programme delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with client and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme and service delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Partner with account teams, architects, technical leads, and delivery teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that address client business needs.
• Drive programme governance, project planning, resource management, financial tracking, and delivery performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to review solution designs and ensure alignment with business requirements, architecture standards, and delivery objectives.
• Oversee application development, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and transition activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies, quality standards, and governance processes.
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers, technical leads, business analysts, and delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, innovation, and operational efficiencies across programmes.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, and resource planning to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Participate in business workshops, client meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.
• Support business growth by contributing to solutioning, proposal development, effort estimation, and delivery planning activities.
• Build, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
• Manage team performance, career development, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in programme management, project delivery, or service delivery leadership within the Insurance industry, IT Services, or System Integrator environment.
• Strong experience managing large-scale application development, transformation, modernization, or managed services programmes.
• Demonstrated success in managing client stakeholders, executive communications, and delivery governance.
• Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and application delivery frameworks.
• Experience managing programme financials, budgets, resource planning, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Insurance platforms, core insurance systems, policy administration, claims, underwriting, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to lead complex transformation programmes and manage delivery risks.
• Experience working in a global delivery model, including offshore and distributed teams.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent project/programme management certifications are advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer satisfaction, delivery excellence, and business outcomes.
