Job summary

DXC Technology Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance to lead end-to-end large-scale application development and managed services programmes for insurance clients. You will manage stakeholder relationships, oversee governance, and drive delivery excellence across multiple workstreams.

The role requires proven leadership of distributed teams, strong SDLC and delivery methodology knowledge, and a focus on client satisfaction and outcomes within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in programme management, project delivery, or service delivery leadership within Insurance or IT services.
• Strong experience managing large-scale application development, transformation, modernization, or managed services programmes.
• Demonstrated success in managing client stakeholders, executive communications, and delivery governance.
• Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and application delivery frameworks.
• Experience managing programme financials, budgets, resource planning, and delivery metrics.
• Experience working with Insurance platforms, core insurance systems, policy administration, claims, underwriting, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme and service delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Serve as the primary client contact for stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Partner with account teams and delivery groups to design and implement solutions addressing client needs.
• Drive governance, planning, resource management, and delivery performance reporting.
• Review solution designs with Architects to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
• Oversee SDLC-compliant development, testing, integration, deployment, and transitions across projects.
• Provide leadership to project managers, technical leads, and delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and efficiency across programmes.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and resources to support delivery outcomes.
• Engage in workshops, client meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.
• Support business growth through solutioning, estimation, and planning work.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams and foster a customer-focused culture.

Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance to lead the successful delivery of large-scale application development, transformation, and managed services programmes for insurance clients. This role will be responsible for end-to-end programme delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with client and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme and service delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Partner with account teams, architects, technical leads, and delivery teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that address client business needs.
• Drive programme governance, project planning, resource management, financial tracking, and delivery performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to review solution designs and ensure alignment with business requirements, architecture standards, and delivery objectives.
• Oversee application development, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and transition activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies, quality standards, and governance processes.
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers, technical leads, business analysts, and delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, innovation, and operational efficiencies across programmes.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, and resource planning to support successful delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing large-scale application development, transformation, modernization, or managed services programmes.
• Demonstrated success in managing client stakeholders, executive communications, and delivery governance.
• Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and application delivery frameworks.
• Experience managing programme financials, budgets, resource planning, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Insurance platforms, core insurance systems, policy administration, claims, underwriting, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
