Job summary

Adecco (Portugal) is seeking an Insurance Operations Associate to perform routine and non-repetitive processing tasks, including data entry, policy document issuance, and premium billing, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations.

The role requires strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Underwriters and clients, and to support policy administration across lines of business. Shift willingness and English proficiency are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in any field.
• 1 year of experience in underwriting operations, including familiarity with policy issuance, data management, and adherence to SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Validate and enter customer proposals, applications, and transactions into the policy processing system for specific lines of business.
• Adhere to processing turnaround times for policy applications and transaction processing.
• Generate quotations, new policies, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and perform admin tasks for consumer lines per SOPs.
• Communicate with Underwriters and clients to gather necessary information for policy administration and servicing.
• Organize and maintain electronic databases, including data input and ongoing maintenance.
• Investigate and rectify rework issues to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.
