Job summary

B. Braun in Malaysia is seeking an Engineer - Industrial to strengthen our industrial engineering team.

You will plan layouts, optimize processes, and contribute to cost reduction and productivity improvements. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and at least three years of relevant experience, with knowledge of lean manufacturing, FMEA, takt time, and project involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Lean, FMEA, takt time, cycle time, lead time, and work instructions.
• Project management exposure and involvement in process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment layouts and establish standards to improve industrial engineering techniques.
• Analyze existing methods and develop recommendations to reduce costs and time, increase yields and productivity, and improve quality.
• Study workflows to maximize facility and personnel utilization; perform complex, non-routine assignments.
• Provide engineering services and reports on production methods, layout, and utilization of equipment and materials.
• Understand client requirements and technical specs to develop techniques and estimate time and total cost for projects.
• Role may include additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
