Job summary

TG Malaysia is seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement LEAN practices across our manufacturing floors. You will lead value-stream analyses, Kaizen events, and layout improvements to enhance ergonomics, reduce waste, and improve yields.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and certification in MOST/MTM. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain continuous improvement across PCB assembly

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years in industrial & manufacturing engineering.
Proficient with lean manufacturing tools (VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM).
Experience in PCB assembly and box build is a plus.
MOST or MTM certification is a must.
Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Design and implement LEAN practices (VSM, Continuous flow, 5S, cycle time, takt time).
Analyze and evaluate existing systems, identifying value-added vs non-value-added activities.
Lead Kaizen events to implement improvements.
Develop and implement work instructions and train team members.
Plan and develop layouts to improve ergonomics and reduce waste.
Coordinate continuous improvement to upgrade yield and quality.
Manage production schedules to maximize productivity.
Evaluate tasks and responsibilities to improve productivity.
Maintain data collection and reporting for process improvements.
