Job summary

B. Braun Medical Industries in Penang is seeking an Engineer - Process Engineering to support production operations, improve manufacturing processes, and ensure quality and efficiency across the line.

The role requires a degree in engineering, hands-on experience in process development, and collaboration with QA and operations teams to drive CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives. Onsite work in Penang, Malaysia is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science as stated.
• Minimum two years in process/manufacturing engineering or related production environment.
• Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals encouraged to apply.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production operations; address process and technical issues on the line.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to resolve quality issues in surgical instrument production.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and assembly sequences for quality, productivity, cost and safety.
• Analyze drawings and data to develop processes, estimate cycle times, and support new product/process implementation.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions and other process documents.
• Evaluate processes and recommend improvements to reduce waste, costs and improve yields.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis and engineering solutions.
• Develop innovative solutions for senior roles to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional teams on CAPA and validations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
