Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO International, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales professional in Malaysia to drive growth across accounts and new business. You will engage with customer engineering teams, present MT products, and collaborate with marketing on campaigns.

Required are an engineering degree/diploma, PLC knowledge, 2+ years in technical sales, travel readiness, and strong communication. A driving license is essential for field visits and events.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic) preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and automation integration.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical sales environment.
• Willing to travel with a valid driving license.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Understanding of sales and distribution with basic project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing accounts and update sales pipelines.
• Qualify database and maintain CRM records.
• Identify new accounts and plan sales call schedules.
• Understand customer requirements and establish rapport with stakeholders.
• Support marketing campaigns, leads generation and management.
• Present product and technical information to customers.
• Interact with customer engineering teams and represent MT at events.
• Develop staff by providing technical information and training.
• Negotiate win-win agreements with customers.
