Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia's Penang seeks a proactive Technical Account Manager to manage existing customer accounts, build strong relationships and develop new business opportunities in the industrial automation industry.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field, with experience in industrial automation or technical sales, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in industrial automation, machine building or technical sales preferred.
• Strong understanding of automation equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand technical requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities and generate new RFQs.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on technical proposals and quotations.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and project opportunities.
• Develop repeat business and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor sales pipelines and achieve assigned targets.
