DQI TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation in Kuala Lumpur to blend technical know-how with proactive sales efforts. You will identify opportunities, present tailored automation solutions, and manage key accounts from first contact to project handover.

The role requires bilingual communication (Mandarin and English) with an advantage for Bahasa Malaysia, a diploma/degree in engineering or IT, and at least 1 year of B2B sales experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in B2B or industrial-related industries.
• Good sales, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English communication.
• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new sales opportunities within the industrial automation market, leveraging technical knowledge to position solutions effectively.
• Conduct needs assessments and technical presentations to prospective clients, clearly communicating the value and capabilities of our industrial automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for technical and commercial matters.
• Collaborate with the internal technical team to design customised solutions that address specific client requirements and business objectives.
• Prepare detailed proposals, quotations and technical documentation that align with client specifications and project requirements.
• Support the sales process from initial consultation through contract negotiation and project handover.
• Provide post-sale technical support and account management to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress and customer interactions using CRM systems.
• Stay current with industry trends, competitive offerings and emerging technologies in industrial automation.
