Omron Electronics Sdn Bhd in Penang invites you to join as an Account Manager, Sales – Industrial Automation. You will drive growth by understanding customer needs, promoting industrial automation products and solutions, and achieving sales targets through close collaboration with internal teams, distributors and partners.

Travel 50-75% within the region. The ideal candidate holds an engineering diploma or degree, has at least 3 years in automation sales, strong knowledge of automation

Formación

• Diploma or degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation sales.
• Strong knowledge of automation solutions and their applications.
• Knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Engineering knowledge, sales management, negotiation and PDCA cycle management capabilities.
• Strong planning and implementation skills.
• Experience in distribution sales or a related field is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, marketing activities, customer engagement, industry events and strategic business development initiatives.
• Prepare sales proposals, business plans, quotations, technical proposals and presentations to support sales growth and achieve revenue and budget targets.
• Drive business sustainability by balancing sales growth and profitability.
• Provide regular sales updates and reports to management on business development activities, sales pipeline, account performance and progress against targets.
• Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers, particularly within the semiconductor and industrial automation industries.
• Manage key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, business retention and long-term business growth.
