Job summary

Ingersoll Rand plc in Shah Alam is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to drive profitable revenue by broadening sales coverage and establishing new accounts in Central Malaysia. The role requires engaging with customers, providing total solutions, and collaborating with supply chain and project teams.

You will identify prospects, conduct outreach, negotiate contracts, deliver pre-sales support, and present technical demonstrations at trade shows and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with sales experience in industrial products.
• Product knowledge of air compressor and control systems advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new clients and business prospects.
• Perform outreach to cold leads via calls and emails.
• Achieve sales target set for area of responsibilities.
• Negotiate tender, contract terms and conditions and prepare Sales contract.
• Visit and meet prospective customers in assigned industries to provide required services and solicit for orders.
• Prepare sales report, analyzing cost and sales, quotations and maintaining and creating new client accounts.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product training and after-sales support.
• Prepare demonstrations and technical presentations to customer.
• Attending trade shows, conferences, marketing, and other events.
• Work closely with supply chain management, sales support and project engineer and order fulfillment team.
• Maintain close relationship with the customers in assigned industries.
