The role supports HR activities, maintains records, responds to staff queries, and assists with HRDC grants, training claims, and statutory forms while upholding integrity and teamwork. Based at Menara Hap Seng, KL, this is a full-time position within a collaborative HR environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in handling payroll, preferably in-house payroll.
• HR generalist experience will be an added advantage.
• High integrity and good interpersonal skills to work with all levels of staff.
• Being a good team player in supporting other team members to complete tasks accurately.
• Full-time position based at Menara Hap Seng, KL.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for the assigned companies in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Remit all applicable statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax, EIS, HRDC, etc.) accurately before the timeline.
• Handle HR staff movements including transfers, confirmation, resignations, etc.
• Issue HR letters such as contracts, confirmations, transfers, resignations, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date records/documents in the HR system and files.
• Support IR Manager with data gathering for disciplinary and performance improvement cases.
• Respond to staff queries in a timely manner.
• Assist in applying for HRDC grants and training claims.
• Prepare yearly declarations and EA/Form E for tax, within timelines.
• Support Rewards Team during Annual Review exercises.
• Participate in ad-hoc/special HR projects as assigned.
