Job summary

Hap Seng Management Services Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Payroll Executive in Group Human Resource. The role processes monthly payroll, handles statutory deductions and HR letters, and maintains employee records.

You will support the IR Manager on disciplinary data and participate in special HR projects. Based at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur, this full-time position requires 1–2 years payroll experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in handling payroll, preferably in-house payroll.
• Candidate with HR generalist experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for the assigned companies accurately and efficiently.
• Remit all statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax, etc.) on time.
• Handle HR staff movements (transfers, confirmations, resignations).
• Issue HR letters such as contracts, confirmations, transfers, and resignations.
• Maintain up-to-date employment records in the database/file.
• Support IR Manager with data gathering for disciplinary cases and PIP cases.
• Respond to staff queries promptly.
• Assist in applying for HRDC grants and training claims.
• Prepare yearly declarations and e-Filing for tax deductions (Form E) and EA forms.
• Participate in ad-hoc/special projects.
