Qualifications

• Possess minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the relevant industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point).
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and permit applications is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate import and export procedures for shipments across different countries.
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Understand import requirements for various product categories.
• Assist in product license and permit applications for regulated items, including monitoring application fees and processing timelines.
• Track import and export containers and provide regular shipment status updates.
• Follow up closely on delayed shipments, customs issues, and other container-related matters until resolved.
• Understand and calculate customs duties, taxes, and related import/export charges.
• Prepare import and export cost calculations for containers.
• Liaise with overseas freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and logistics partners.
• Support customs clearance procedures and ensure all required documents are submitted on time.
• Maintain organized records of shipping documents, permits, and related correspondence.
• Ensure documentation and permit applications are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
