Responsibilities

• Ensure daily backup systems and off-site storage protection.
• Update daily backup logbook and generate reports.
• Assist MIS Executive to troubleshoot network connections and ensure PMS system runs smoothly.
• Standardize and document operating procedures to reduce errors and facilitate supervision.
• Restrict computer room access to authorized personnel and protect system confidentiality.
• Prepare for potential water, fire, power failures and vandalism risks to ICT assets.
• Participate in departmental activities and support superiors as assigned.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure use of legal software and proper MIS practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure that system & data backup being done daily and are adequately protected in an off-site storage area.
• To update the backup logbook on daily basis.
• To assists MIS Executive to trouble shoot network connection.
• To assist MIS Executive to ensure the PMS System run smoothly.
• Operation procedure must be standardized an documented to reduce accidental errors and to make supervisory review moreefficient.
• To ensure that entry to the computer room is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• Reasonable precaution must be taken against water damage, fire, power failures and vandalism to the computer system.
• Being a team player in the Hotel and Departmental Activities.
• To perform tasks directed by Superiors from time to time.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure use of legal software.
• The MIS Assistant is responsible for operating the computer. This would include the daily, weekly and yearly system and databackup, monthly reports printing, recording MIS logbook and assisting the superior on MIS matters. Ensure that systemconfidentiality and system information is highly protected.

Preferred Qualifications:

• I.T or Computer Science.
• 2 years' working experience in handling ICT matters.
• Effective communicator in interpersonal communication.
