Job summary

HB Ventures/ 木槿资本 is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Operations & Reporting Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to support day-to-day fund operations across multiple private funds. You will work closely with General Partners, the Fund Administrator, and the Investment Manager on reporting, AML/KYC, expenses, and management accounts.

The role covers coordinating periodic reporting, investor onboarding, audits, and compliance tasks, with an emphasis on accuracy, timelines, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• 3–6 years’ experience in fund administration, fund operations, finance/treasury, or accounting for securities firms/private equity/VC/alternative funds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reporting deliverables (capital accounts, NAV packs, quarterly/annual financial statements, regulatory filings) to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage AML/KYC and investor onboarding processes with Fund Administrator and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare payment instructions and liaise with banks and signatories for timely settlements.
• Maintain expense registers and support reconciliations with Fund Administrator’s ledgers.
• Assist with tax filings and annual budgets/forecasts.
