Job summary

HSBC Malaysia Berhad seeks an experienced professional to join HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking in the Fund Admin Operations team as Manager Fund Admin Operations. The role focuses on effective management of the Fund Admin group to maximise long-term performance while minimising regulatory and reputational risks.

Key duties include overseeing Trust Accounts, keeping abreast of market developments, managing relationships, and developing talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in a similar field.
• Commercially astute with excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Management experience.
• Responsible, mature individual with good analytical skills and ability to deliver within tight deadlines and multi-task.
• Meticulous and detail conscious.
• Desire to succeed and be a change agent with a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of Trust Accounts within the Fund Admin Operations Group.
• Stay updated on market developments and industry best practices.
• Manage relationships and add value for stakeholders.
• Develop and initiate talent management for self and reporting staff.
• Expand knowledge of HSBC Fund Services’ business needs.
• Maintain HSBC Internal Control Standards and Group Compliance policies; manage operation risks and reputational risk.
• Ensure adherence to all Group standards and procedures.
