Job summary

Vistra in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Manager, Fund Services to lead daily operations, ensure compliance, and drive team performance. The role reports to the Head of Fund Services and supports regional growth with a strong emphasis on IFRS/US GAAP standards.

The successful candidate will manage full sets of accounts, supervise staff, and review financial statements, with strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities to foster an engaged workforce.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of accounting experience, Fund Accounting preferred.
• Degree in accountancy or finance; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Ability to manage full set of accounts and IFRS/FRS knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Experience with fund accounting or fund administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational matters and critical issues.
• Review financial statements, management accounts and accounting packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee consolidation work and verify its completeness.
• Draft disclosure wording in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Review Capital Account Statements and NAV; analyze fund documents and summarize key terms.
• Review capital calls and distributions; prepare waterfall and equalization calculations.
• Liaise with fund investors to meet reporting requirements and respond to requests.
• Lead interviews for fund accounting team recruitment and provide training on accounting principles.
