PMX Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned HR professional to manage payroll administration, statutory compliance and Employee/Industrial Relations (ER/IR) functions. You will support decision-making through accurate HR data, reporting and analytics while ensuring HR practices comply with company policies and Malaysian law.
You will lead day-to-day ER/IR activities, ensure timely payroll processing, and maintain thorough HR records.

Manage key HR operations, with primary responsibility for payroll administration, statutory compliance, and employee/industrial relations (ER/IR).
Support HR decision-making through accurate employee data, reporting and analytics, while ensuring HR practices comply with company policies and Malaysian employment legislation.
Manage day-to-day employee relations and disciplinary matters, including attendance, absenteeism, misconduct, performance-related concerns and other workplace issues.
Handle disciplinary processes including investigation, documentation and issuance of show cause letters, termination letters and other disciplinary correspondence.
Support and coordinate domestic inquiries and grievance handling where required.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, disciplinary procedures and employment-related matters.
Maintain proper documentation and records of disciplinary and employee relations cases.
Manage and process the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.
Handle payroll-related matters including salary adjustments, allowances, overtime, deductions, claims and final payments.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory contributions and payments, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other applicable statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate payroll records and perform payroll reconciliation and verification.
Liaise with relevant government agencies and external parties on payroll and statutory matters when required.
Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards and workforce data, including headcount, turnover, attendance, payroll and other key HR metrics.
Analyse HR data and identify trends or insights to support management decision-making and workforce planning.
Ensure employee and HR data are accurate, complete and properly maintained.
Support process improvements and automation of HR reporting and administrative processes.
Support other HR operational activities and employee lifecycle matters as required.
Participate in the review and improvement of HR policies, procedures and internal controls.
Undertake other HR-related assignments or projects as assigned by management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with hands-on experience in managing the full payroll cycle and Employee Relations / Industrial Relations (ER/IR) matters.
Experience in HR data analytics, reporting, dashboards or HR systems will be an added advantage.
Strong experience in IR/ER matters, including handling disciplinary cases, show cause letters, warning letters and employee grievances.
Familiar with the Employment Act 1955 and other relevant Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling payroll, employee records and confidential information.
Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with HRIS/payroll systems and data visualisation tools would be an added advantage.
