Jora Malaysia is hiring a HR & Payroll generalist to manage monthly payroll, attendance, and statutory submissions in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee onboarding, employee records, and HR letters while supporting recruitment and HR projects.
Qualified candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in HR/Business Admin/Accounting and are fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay. 1–3 years in HR/recruitment roles and strong communication skills are essential for this role in Malaysia.

Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
Verify attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, deductions, and other payroll-related information.
Ensure timely and accurate statutory submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp.
Prepare payroll reports and perform payroll reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
Handle employee enquiries related to salary, payroll, deductions, and statutory contributions.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records in the payroll system.
Support year‑end payroll activities and preparation of relevant payroll reports and documents.
Manage general HR operations, including onboarding, confirmation, employee transfers, and off‑boarding.
Maintain employee records and prepare HR letters and employment‑related documents.
Support recruitment and other HR administrative activities when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws.
Assist with payroll system updates, data validation, testing, and user support.
Support other HR projects and duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders (both written and spoken)
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR generalist, or HR business partnering roles.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Good knowledge of employment practices and HR policies.
