As HR Manager, you'll drive HR initiatives such as hiring, benefits, employee relations and training programmes, to ensure compliance for hotel colleagues. You'll promote a positive team culture whilst ensuring colleagues deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life. You'll guide the General Manager and leadership team on all people-related issues. This is the top HR role in a large, luxury hotel with extensive facilities and services, a number of major outlets, and catering and convention facilities. Create programmes to foster a positive work environment for all and support and administer an annual colleagues satisfaction survey
Educate and train managers on HR disciplines to foster productivity and enhance performance
Welcome and conduct new colleague orientation
Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all colleagues
Ensure hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed and maintain the culture of the hotel
Build great relations with outside contacts such as Universities, Colleagues, and relevant Government Bodies
Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote colleague involvement in local community
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and hotel or company policies and procedures
Ensure grievances are handled with utmost care and research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks, and facilitate resolution
Collect and maintain data from exit interviews, turnover statistics, and absenteeism reports to identify trends, training needs, and supervisory issues
Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification or equivalent
4 years' of related experience in HR
Some supervisory experience preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR related matters
Must speak local language(s) and English
