Job summary

SOLS Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to support talent acquisition, operations, employee engagement and employer branding. You will assist with job postings, resume screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding in a fast-paced solar company.

This internship offers on-the-job training, mentorship by industry professionals, and exposure to HR projects across branding and internal communications.

Qualifications

• Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months to gain full exposure.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent.
• High proficiency in English; Written and Verbal.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (Optional).
• A knack for multitasking, managing multiple projects on a deadline with third-party vendors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: assist with implementing the organisation’s recruiting strategy, assist with hiring, posting job announcements, onboarding experiences.
• People Operations: assist in analyzing data and updating data sources; assist in administrative tasks.
• Employee Engagement: plan and execute engagement activities and improve current efforts.
• Employer Branding: learn branding concepts, handle projects, and use social media to execute branding initiatives.

Job description

We are a solar company looking for a highly motivated and passionate Human Resources Intern. The Human Resources intern will deal with any HR-related matters and projects, which covers talent acquisition, operations, employee engagement & employer branding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

Talent Acquisition

• Assist with implementing the organisation’s recruiting strategy;
• Assist with the hiring process, coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks and conducting interviews;
• Assist in posting job announcements onto different job platforms;
• Supports a pleasant onboarding & candidate experiences for all hirings
• Support in writing job descriptions;Processing personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval;

People Operations

• Assist in analyzing data and updating various data sources;
• Assist in administrative tasks

Employee Engagement

• Assist in planning & executing employee engagement activities
• Improve and improvise current employee engagement activities

Employer Branding

• Learn about the importance of Employer Branding
• Handle several projects that will improve the company’s branding
• Making use of the company’s social media to execute branding projects
• Be part of the SOLS Community and spread the word and work done that aligns with our vision and mission.
