Job summary

Signature Market is seeking a current final-semester HR student for an internship at Kajang. You will support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, KPIs, and foreign worker management while maintaining accurate records in HR databases.

There is a RM1000.00 per month allowance, with a view to converting to a full-time staff. You should be proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Currently in final semester of Diploma/Degree in HR or related field.
• Genuinely interested in continuing full-time after the internship.
• Must be Malaysian citizen and age 18+.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, KPIs, and foreign worker management.
• Maintain accurate employee records & update HR databases.
• Participate in disciplinary processes, policy implementation, and performance management.
• Engage in culture-building, employee engagement & learning initiatives to build a WOW employee experience.
• Assist in planning and executing company events and wellness activities.
• Other duties may arise as necessary.

Requirements

• Currently in their final semester of Diploma/Degree in HR or related field. Genuinely interested in continuing full-time after the internship.
• Familiar with HR trends and active in Malaysia HR groups/forums (we love a curious mind!).
• Proactive, responsible, and resourceful — you get things done.
• Able to demonstrate professional work ethic.
• Must possess own transportation to commute to work due to limited public transportation in the area.
• Good time management & stress management.
• Willing to stand by all the time for ad hoc stuff.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and ready to handle multiple HR tasks.
• Must be age 18 and above and Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum 4 months of internship.
