Job summary

Hung Thong Food Technology in Malaysia seeks an HR Generalist to manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, exits and payroll administration, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies. You will handle foreign worker matters, training, employee relations and compensation, coordinating with management and external agencies to support HR projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in HR, business admin or related field.
• Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements.
• Experience in payroll administration; SQL Payroll an advantage.
• Experience in foreign worker management and work permit administration.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to work independently.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage.

• Liaise with government authorities and external agencies on immigration and statutory matters.
• Support HR projects and other duties assigned by Management.

Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements.

Experience in payroll administration; SQL Payroll experience is an added advantage.

Experience in foreign worker management and work permit administration is an added advantage.

Strong communication, organisational, follow-up and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
