We are looking for a proactive and responsible HR Executive to manage day-to-day human resources activities, with a strong focus on recruitment, employee development, compliance, foreign worker administration, employee relations, and company activities. The ideal candidate should be hands‑on, organized, able to communicate effectively with employees at different levels, and comfortable handling both HR operations and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process from manpower requisition to onboarding, including preparing and posting job advertisements, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting phone screenings, coordinating interviews, and preparing employment offers
- Identify training needs in consultation with department heads and plan, coordinate and evaluate internal and external training programmes
- Assist in ensuring compliance with DOSH/JKKP and applicable Occupational Safety & Health requirements, coordinate safety documentation and training
- Manage foreign worker documentation, work permits, PLKS and immigration documentation, coordinate FOMEMA medical examinations and monitor permit expiry dates
- Handle employee enquiries, grievances and workplace concerns, assist management in handling disciplinary issues and prepare related documentation
- Plan and coordinate company events, employee activities and engagement programmes including annual dinners, team building and festive events
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, assist with HR policies and procedures implementation, and prepare HR reports
About you
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant HR experience preferred
- Hands‑on experience in recruitment and employee relations
- Knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR practices
- Experience handling foreign workers, work permits and FOMEMA will be an advantage
- Knowledge of DOSH/JKKP and workplace safety requirements is preferred
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and handle confidential information professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
