HRX Motosport in Penang seeks an HR cum Finance Executive to manage day-to-day HR tasks, payroll coordination and basic finance duties. You will handle attendance, staff records, recruitment support and essential admin processes.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a responsible and organised HR cum Finance Executive to manage our people operations while supporting essential finance and administrative activities.
Manage day-to-day HR operations including attendance, leave, employee records and staff documentation.
Handle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and onboarding.
Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters and other HR-related documentation.
Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HR databases.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave and disciplinary matters.
Coordinate payroll preparation and ensure relevant employee information is accurate and updated.
Manage statutory matters including KWSP, PERKESO, EIS and other relevant HR submissions.
Assist management in handling employee performance, conduct and workplace issues.
Support performance appraisal, KPI monitoring and staff development activities.
Ensure HR policies, procedures and company SOPs are properly communicated and implemented.
Organise staff training, employee activities and HR-related initiatives.
Provide HR reports and updates to management when required.
Assist in daily finance and accounting administration.
Record and monitor company income, expenses, purchases and payments.
Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other finance-related documents.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with bank reconciliation and daily transaction checking.
Monitor workshop expenses, supplier payments and petty cash.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
Liaise with suppliers, customers and external accountants when required.
Assist management in preparing basic financial reports and cash flow updates.
Support other administrative duties related to business operations.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR, administration, finance or a related role.
Experience in both HR and basic finance/accounting is preferred.
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Good knowledge of Malaysian HR practices and statutory requirements.
Good understanding of basic accounting and finance processes.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and financial information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel or Google Sheets.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Responsible, proactive and trustworthy.
Automotive/workshop industry experience is an advantage.
