Job summary

Dong Sing Food Link Sdn. Bhd is seeking a senior HR professional to manage recruitment, payroll, and employee relations at Sunsuria Avenue, Petaling Jaya. The role requires independent handling of complex payroll and personnel issues with strong English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin communication skills.

You will oversee policy compliance, onboarding, and staff welfare while coordinating immigration matters for foreign workers. Experience in the F&B sector is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Administration/Management/Psychology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience, preferably from F&B.
• At least 3 years of end-to-end Payroll experience.
• Experience in employee relations is preferable.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment: postings, sourcing, interviews, onboarding.
• Manage employee lifecycle: confirmations, transfers, resignations.
• Maintain employee data in HRIS: salary, allowances, deductions, leaves.
• Run payroll processing ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
• Review and update HR policies for statutory and audit compliance.
• Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and inquiries.
• Provide guidance to line managers on IR and compliance.
• Prepare documents: warning letters, payroll records.
• Coordinate with Immigration on foreign worker permits and renewals.
• Respond to payroll/benefits queries and ad-hoc duties.

Job description

Oversee and manage the full cycle of the recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and onboarding.

Manage employee lifecycle processes, including confirmation, transfer, and resignations process.

Manage employee data updates, including salary, allowance, deduction, and leave information in the HR system.

Perform end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).

Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.

Handle employee disciplinary matters, grievances, and domestic inquiries in a fair and timely manner.

Provide guidance and training to line managers/supervisors on handling employee relations and compliance matters.

Prepare and manage related documentation such as warning letters, disciplinary reports, and payroll records.

Liaise with immigration Department on foreign workers matter e.g. apply working permit, renew working permit, apply check out memo and other related matters.

Respond to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies.

To carry out any other duties and ad-hoc assignments, as and when required.

Job Requirement

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Human Resource Management/Administration/Management/Psychology, or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of Human Resource experience, preferably from F&B industry.

At least 3 years of experience in generating the full cycle of Payroll independently.

Experience in handling employee relations is preferable.

Detail and oriented person who is responsible and capable of independently handling complex employee relations issues.

Possess strong command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking staff will have added advantage.

Candidate with shorter notice period will have greater advantage and prioritized.

Willing to work at Sunsuria Avenue, Petaling Jaya.
