Job summary

Haidilao Malaysia, a globally recognized F&B leader, is seeking a senior HR leader via HISELECT to formulate and localize HR policies, payroll processes, and SOPs for high-volume operations across multiple outlets.

This role oversees statutory contributions, labour pass administration, and industrial relations, while driving performance management and training standards. Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia fluency is required to liaise with Head Office and local agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience with 3+ years in team leadership.
• Experience in multi-outlet F&B/retail operations preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and local compliances.
• Proven track record in HR policy design, payroll, and IR/ER activities.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and localize HR policies, frameworks, and SOPs for high-volume recruitment, performance, and training.
• Oversee payroll execution and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Manage industrial relations, resolving IR/ER disputes and maintaining compliant workplace culture.
• Analyze manpower data to provide workforce optimization insights to Head Office.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to establish training standards and support new outlet openings.

Job description

Formulate and localize HR policies, frameworks, and SOPs covering high-volume recruitment, performance management, and training

Oversee flawless payroll execution, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), and foreign worker work pass administration

Champion proactive employee relations, independently resolving IR/ER disputes and fostering a cohesive, compliant workplace culture

Analyze manpower data and labor costs to provide strategic workforce optimization insights to the Head Office

Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional business unit leaders to establish training standards and support new outlet openings

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

At least 8+ years of comprehensive HR experience, including 3+ years in a team leadership capacity

Experience in multi-outlet F&B, retail, or chain operations is highly preferred

Deep expertise in the Malaysian Employment Act 1955, local statutory compliances, and proven capability in hands-on industrial relations

Strong track record in building HR policies from scratch, driving HRMS implementations, and networking with local Malaysian government bodies (Labour Department, Immigration, KWSP, PERKESO)

Required to converse in Mandarin and read/write Chinese documents to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking counterparts at Head Office and draft business reports

Conversational Bahasa Malaysia is necessary to engage effectively with local outlet staff and government agencies
