Job summary

SCM International Property Management Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Human Resource Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role supports HR functions, policies, payroll, and employee relations to enhance the employee experience and organizational culture.

You will contribute to recruitment, onboarding, training, HR documentation, and engagement initiatives while ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in property management or service industry.
• Proficiency in Malaysia employment law and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate training and development programmes for staff.
• Support implementation of HR policies and company initiatives.
• Assist in payroll processing, leave management and benefits administration.
• Handle employee relations inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Participate in performance management and appraisal processes.
• Generate HR reports and analytics as required.
• Support employee engagement and retention activities.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies, training providers and government agencies on HR matters.

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resource Executive to join our team at SCM International Property Management Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur. As a Human Resource Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting our human resources functions and contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies across the organisation. Key responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees
• Support the administration of employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programmes to enhance staff skills and performance
• Provide support in the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and company initiatives
• Assist in payroll processing, leave management, and employee benefits administration
• Handle employee relations matters, including addressing queries, concerns, and grievances in a professional and timely manner
• Participate in performance management processes and support the appraisal system
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate HR reports and analytics as required
• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement and retention activities
• Liaise with external parties such as recruitment agencies, training providers, and government agencies on HR-related matters

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a human resources role, ideally within property management, facilities management, or a similar service-oriented industry
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law, labour regulations, and HR best practices
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling HR documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide thoughtful advice and support to employees
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and payroll administration would be advantageous
