Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR professional to support payroll, industrial relations, and employee engagement initiatives. You will assist in monthly payroll processing, attendance, overtime, and statutory submissions, ensuring confidentiality and audit readiness.

The role also covers IR procedures, disciplinary support, and employee relations activities. You will liaise with authorities, maintain records, and help resolve grievances while strengthening workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in recruitment, payroll and employee relations.
• Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws, foreign worker regulations and IR procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, documentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR systems.

Responsibilities

Payroll

• Assist in monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Verify attendance, overtime, and leave records for payroll input.
• Handle payroll queries and coordinate with Finance for reconciliation.
• Ensure payroll documentation is audit-ready and confidential.

Industrial Relations (IR)

• Support disciplinary procedures, warning letters, and domestic inquiries.
• Maintain records of misconduct cases and IR documentation.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and legal advisors when required.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and collective agreements.

Employee Relations (ER)

• Assist in employee engagement programs, welfare initiatives, and feedback channels.
• Support resolution of grievances and promote positive workplace culture.
• Organize staff events, recognition programs, and communication activities.
• Monitor employee morale and elevate concerns to HR Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
• Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws, foreign worker regulations, and IR procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills.
