Sealink Sdn Bhd., based in Miri, Malaysia, is seeking an HSE Manager to oversee health, safety and environmental management across offshore oil and gas marine vessel operations.

You will develop SMS in line with ISM/ISPS, lead investigations, audits and training, and drive a strong safety culture across the fleet.

Ideal candidates hold a Maritime Studies or OHS degree, NEBOSH or IOSH, and 5–8 years of offshore HSE leadership, with ISM/ISPS auditing experience.

Formación

• Bachelor-level degree in Maritime Studies or safety field with relevant offshore exposure.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is required or preferred.
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISM/ISPS strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of HSE management experience in offshore oil & gas marine vessel operations.
• Solid knowledge of MARPOL, IMCS codes, DP guidelines and offshore regulatory requirements.

HSE Manager position in the maritime industry, responsible for health, safety and environmental management across offshore oil & gas marine vessel operations.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement company's Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with ISM Code and ISPS Code

Lead investigation into accidents, near‑miss incidents and environmental spills using root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions

Conduct internal safety audits, vessel inspections and risk assessments

Prepare external client audits and OVID inspections

Drive safety culture across the fleet

Design and deliver HSE training campaigns for both shore staff and offshore crew

About you

Degree in Maritime Studies, Occupational Health & Safety Engineering, or experience as Ex‑Seagoing Crew Master or Chief Engineer

Recognized Safety Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Safety professional qualifications

Certified Internal Auditor for ISM/ISPS

5–8 years of HSE management experience in Offshore oil & gas marine vessel operations

Excellent understanding of offshore oil major requirements, IMCS Codes of practice, dynamic positioning (DP) guidelines, and Marine environmental regulations (MARPOL)

Good analytical report writing and crisis management knowledge
