Airswift in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HSE professional to support offshore oil and gas project activities, focusing on HSSE systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes constructing compliant bid documents and coordinating with government and clients.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in HSE or engineering, plus relevant professional certifications and extensive experience in risk assessment, hazard control, and HSE monitoring.
Prepare "potential project" bidding documents and proposals to ensure compliance and all information is relevant and presented correctly. Prepare and assist with potential project bidding documents and ITT, to communicate and ensure all relevant information is shared and communicated efficiently and effectively. Obtain and/or ensure relevant approvals from Gov't, CLASS, MWS and client for installation requirements prior to, during and post activities by Installation contractors. Collect and correlate all T&I documents related to the work into as built files for the project team and MISC division. Implement and monitor HSSE management systems, procedures, and project safety plans. Ensure compliance with applicable HSSE regulations, company standards, and client requirements. Support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Monitor HSSE performance and prepare reports, KPIs, and safety statistics. Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety awareness programs. Coordinate emergency preparedness and response planning activities. Support construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities from an HSSE perspective.
Minimum five (5) years overall working experiences in construction of offshore oil and gas facilities, preferably with FPSO experience. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, Internal Auditor certifications are desired Knowledge of risk assessment, hazard control, and HSE monitoring tools. Proficiency in HSE reporting and documentation. Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Degree in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Engineering, Science or other related technical specialization recognized by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA). Registered with Board of Engineers or recognized International Institution as member Professional certification in HSE is an added advantage e.g. SHO, CHRA Assessor, etc.
