HR Payroll Operation Lead (Senior level)
- 1. Lead the payroll operations team, overseeing the full cycle from employee profile creation to payroll processing, ensuring payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- 2. Liaise with outsourced agents to ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and the Employment Act. Review invoices to confirm that charges are in accordance with the agreement.
- 3. Manage, process and validate payroll for Malaysia plant employees, including confidential group employees.
- 4. Validate payroll submissions from overseas subsidiaries’ local HR teams and liaise with payroll agents to provide payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance after processing.
- 5. Administer employee benefits schemes, including group insurance registration, claims, and inquiries, while validating benefits claim submissions for accuracy and eligibility.
- 6. Oversee and manage employee lifecycle C&B processes, ensuring accurate execution of confirmation, salary adjustments, bonus and incentive payouts in accordance with company policies.
- 7. Oversee employee leave and time management systems, ensuring compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
- 8. Liaise with HR system providers to support HR operations, including reviewing enhancement needs, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- 9. Collaborate with related HR personnel to coordinate orientation programs, ensuring smooth execution and accurate data management.
- 10. Prepare payroll and headcount reports as required under ESG frameworks, government regulations, and operational needs.
- 11. Identify opportunities to improve payroll and compensation processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with operational requirements.
- 12. Administer employee data protection policies and develop systems to maintain high confidentiality of employee data, including secure storage, restricted access, and compliance with PDPA requirements.
- 13. Conduct audits and risk assessments to strengthen data protection practices and train HR staff on confidentiality protocols.
- 14. Lead and guide HR team members in payroll, benefits, and HR operations, acting as a subject matter expert and providing training where necessary.
- 15. Perform other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
- 16. Comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by Management) and adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies, and guidelines provided by the company.
Requirements
- At least degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience in related field.
- Willing to work in fast growing company and adapt to changes quickly
- Language: English, Malay & Mandarin is required to communicate with overseas partners
- Able to start work immediately or 1 month will be added advantage
- Details-Oriented, positive attitude and aggressiveness
