SEASON RETAIL MANAGEMENT Sdn Bhd is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Johor Bahru to manage monthly payroll processes and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements. You will handle payroll data, new hires, resignations, allowances, deductions, leave, overtime, commissions and related payments.
The role requires 3–5 years in HR, payroll, and administration, with strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and confidentiality.
This role involves processing monthly payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements, managing payroll data, calculating performance-related payments and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key responsibilities
Process monthly payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements
Process payroll data including new hires, resignations, allowances, deductions, leave, overtime, commissions and other payments
Calculate and process sales commissions, incentives, KPI-based bonuses and other performance-related payments accurately
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including variance checks and payroll summaries
Ensure accurate calculation of statutory deductions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly
Process salaries, bonuses, allowances and other employee payments within the required timelines
Assist with employee benefits, deductions, taxation and other payroll-related matters
Prepare and submit payroll reports and supporting documents to the HR Manager for verification and approval
Keep updated on changes in payroll regulations, statutory requirements and employment legislation
About you
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR, payroll and administration
Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labour laws, and HR practices
Experience in payroll processing, recruitment, employee relation, and general administration
Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Proactive, responsible, and willing to handle a broad range of payroll-related responsibilities
