Job summary

HT Group is seeking an HR Executive in Malaysia to support payroll, statutory compliance, HR operations, and employee matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and knowledgeable about Malaysian payroll regulations.

Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll processing, attendance, leave, overtime, and ensuring regulatory compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other filings. Strong MS Office skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in HR/BA or related field.
• 3–5 years of payroll and HR operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; Info-Tech Payroll/HR System a plus.
• Maintains confidentiality and accuracy in payroll data.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely salary payments.
• Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, commissions, incentives, and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings within deadlines.
• Maintain employee records and HR transactions (hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, resignations).
• Provide timely support on payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Coordinate with Finance on cash payroll arrangements and salary distribution.
• Assist with employee relations and labour-related matters.

We are looking for a HR Executive to join our team and support payroll, statutory compliance, HR operations, and employee-related matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and has strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll and employment regulations.

Key responsibilities

Handle end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary payments.

Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leave, overtime, commissions, incentives, and other adjustments.

Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other statutory requirements.

Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings within the required deadlines.

Maintain employee records and process HR transactions including new hires, promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, and resignations.

Manage employee payroll and benefits enquiries and provide timely support.

Coordinate with Finance on cash payroll arrangements and salary distribution.

Assist with employee relations and labour-related matters.

Ensure employee and payroll information is maintained accurately and confidentially.

Perform other HR duties as assigned by the superior.

About you

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in payroll and HR operations.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements.

Good understanding of the Employment Act and labour regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Experience with Info-Tech Payroll/HR System is an advantage.

Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
