Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our HR team in a manufacturing environment. You will own end-to-end payroll, from data collection to bank payment, and drive HR reporting with support from the HR team.
Key responsibilities include processing full monthly payroll cycles, calculating overtime, managing statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRDF), and handling onboarding, tax reporting, and audits with meticulous attention to detail.
We are looking for an experienced payroll professional to join our HR team. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing and HR reporting in a manufacturing environment. You will work independently and take full ownership of the payroll function from preparation to bank payment, supported by our HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing (End-to-End)
Process full monthly payroll cycle independently — from data collection to bank payment via online banking
Calculate and verify overtime, shift allowances and other variable pay components
Process final salary for resigned and terminated staff including annual leave encashment and statutory deductions
Onboard new hires into the payroll system and ensure benefits enrolment before payroll closing
Statutory Compliance
Submit monthly statutory contributions accurately and before deadlines — EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN (PCB) and HRDF
Prepare and submit annual income tax reporting — EA Form and E Form
Liaise with statutory authorities on compliance matters when required
HR Reporting
Prepare monthly labour cost reports and cost allocation reports for the Finance department
Compile HR statistical data for management reporting, Annual Report and Sustainability Report
Prepare HR data for regulatory authorities as required
Support internal and external audit requirements relating to payroll and HR records
HR Operations Support
Verify staff claims and benefits entitlements
Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation in audit-ready condition
Requirements:
Degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in HR2000 payroll system — this is essential
Sound knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements — EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN and HRDF
Experience preparing payroll-related reports
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
High attention to detail, dependable and discreet in handling confidential payroll data.
