Job summary

SCHOTT Malaysia is seeking an HR professional to join our HR team for a 1-year contract, with potential conversion depending on performance and headcount. You will support end-to-end recruitment, manage daily HR operations, and assist with compensation and benefits processes.

You will help prepare salary proposals, maintain employee data, and contribute to HR reporting and process improvements to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• 1–5 years of HR experience with exposure to operations, compensation and benefits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• Administer day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
• Assist compensation and benefits matters, including medical claims and bonuses.
• Prepare and review salary proposals and support annual salary reviews.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HR system.
• Coordinate performance appraisal and compensation review timelines.
• Produce HR reports on headcount, turnover, and costs to support decisions.
• Handle employee relations queries and engagement activities.
• Support HR digitalization and process improvements.
• Collaborate with HRBP and managers on people-related initiatives.
